Houston
Skir713 grew up in Houston, Texas — the 713. Not the version of Houston that gets put on posters. The real one. The one where the heat is physical and the pressure is constant and the city asks you every day what you're actually made of.
713 isn't just an area code. It's an identity. A shorthand for a specific kind of upbringing, a specific kind of loyalty, a specific kind of ambition that doesn't come from comfort.

The Music
The sound came from needing somewhere to put things. Melodic trap because melody is how emotion survives compression. Southern rap because that's the DNA of the city. Bilingual because Houston is bilingual — English and Spanish aren't two separate worlds here, they're the same sentence.
Pain rap isn't a genre label. It's a description of what the music is doing. It's taking the things that are hard to say and making them listenable. Making them something you can drive to at 2am and feel less alone.

TODO CUESTA & PAIN MADE ME
The two-album introduction maps both sides of the same Houston night.
TODO CUESTA — Everything Costs Something — treats ambition like a debt that must be collected. It moves through hunger, money, relationships, betrayal, pressure, isolation, and family. By the end, success is no longer treated as something free.
PAIN MADE ME is the conversation you have with yourself once nobody else is listening. It considers what the collection costs. The residue. The things that possession cannot replace.
Rolling Stone asked the question both albums are built around: what does winning actually fix?

Summerall Capital
Skir713 is signed to Summerall Capital. The label was built around the same philosophy as the music — that building something real takes longer than building something fast, and that the difference matters.
The work continues.
